The Woodlands Restaurant serves a hot and cold buffet breakfast each morning. The contemporary bedrooms feature Yorkshire biscuits, a flat-screen TV with Sky Sports and Video Cast, a work desk and Wi-Fi access, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is just outside Leeds center, a 10-minute drive from Leeds Airport with complimentary car parking on-site. I would go so far to say that the hotel and it's fantastic staff made us feel more special on our 10th anniversary than we ever did on our honeymoon.Set in 9 acres of wooded grounds, the 4-star Weetwood Hall Estate is a 17th-century manor house with an award-winning pub, The Stables, which shows Sky Sports and features a cobbled courtyard. I cannot wait to return to this hotel sometime. For a mere £5 up to 5 people can travel all day, fantastic value. You can leave your car and venture into the centre of Leeds easily as the bus stop is situated just outside of the hotel road and is just short 15-20 minutes bus ride. The fact that car parking is certainly plentiful and free is a brilliant bonus. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a lovely relaxing break with those special little touches. The breakfast consists of a buffet continental and buffet full English options with plenty of perfectly cooked items available. The Brasserie staff were all very professional and friendly, especially Rachel who did a wonderful job of serving us our drinks and providing some very good chit-chat, whilst also serving other guests. We witnessed a couple of weddings taking place and fully enjoyed watching the whole process come together from the comfort of the Brasserie areas. The hotel rooms, communal areas and grounds are as lovely and very well maintained as they look on the photographs. The kitchen were also very accommodating when I contacted the hotel en-route to them to advise we were running behind schedule and they were happy to move the afternoon tea until an hour later, despite this being outside of the normal serving time. We indulged ourselves with an afternoon tea too and for just £17.95 for two I would wholeheartedly recommend other guests to do the same. The room was very spacious (we booked a superior double) and we were delighted to see that the room also had a proper fridge meaning we could have actual milk for our coffees (we had to purchase the milk from a nearby store) rather than the awful UHT milk. They had gone to the trouble of producing a lovely cookie with chocolate truffles with chocolate writing spelling out Happy Anniversary as well as an anniversary card specifying that it was our 10th wedding anniversary. Upon our arrival there was a lovely little surprise waiting for us in our room. I mentioned during my communications that we would be staying to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and they certainly took note. I contacted the reservation team a few months later as I was unable to find my booking confirmation and I received a copy of this from the front desk within seconds of sending the email. I booked the room months ago (as soon as I found out about the Emmerdale Tour) and the reservation team could not have been more helpful, they were happy to fully explain the options available as well as the discount available to all attendees of the tour. From booking to checking out the whole experience has been a masterclass in customer service. My Husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of July as part of our anniversary celebrations and due to going on the Emmerdale tour.
